@RachelAust5 years agoI’ve tried to include a pet guide regarding toxicity. There are different levels of toxicity though! Anything where I’ve crossed out the pets completely means it’s a no go if they eat them! For more in depth toxicity info and further plant care please refer to my related blog post: 😊😘 ...57

@ThatGirlShelbyylast yearI just repotted my plants today, and since my heart leaf philodendron was gifted to me 3 years ago, it’s grown soooooo much bigger! I just adjusted it so it’s a little more full and less hanging but I need to find a better spot for it than the window it’s next to ...

@nesekaba5 years agoDwarf schefflera (umbrella plant) is one of my favorites too! It is such a satisfying plant to have because it grows so quickly. You can get the tiniest little one and within a year it will be huge. Pothos grows quick too. Those are the two I like to recommend to beginning plant people to try and hook them on the hobby. Plants like snake plants, zz, heart leaf philo's are indestructible but soooooo slow growing. ...1

@Thefitty5 years agoThe spider plant is such a good one! I find that basil is the most challenging. It dies on my in a few days.6
@
@Flutterbyby5 years agoI’m an office plant killer (no windows or sunshine in my Office) by either overwatering (sorry Cactus) or underwatering them (sorry terranium). Or perhaps having absolutely no sunlight maybe a factor. To prevent completely killing them usually I rotate them out if they appear to be dying which means, take home to mum to nurse them back to life ;-) the only one I haven’t Killed is the Chinese lucky bamboo plant - it’s thriving so no effort and hardy. ...1

@kellyk39115 years agoI had an umbrella plant and it was huge and day by day leaves kept falling off, at first they were green leaves and over time leaves were turning black and coming off like 13 a day. I ended up spraying it with neem oil and nothing helped, I threw it away in case something was wrong with it and to keep other plants well. I wish I knew what happened to the umbrella plant ...1
