Désirée Nosbusch is a television presenter and actress. She was born in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg to a Luxembourgish father and Italian mother. She speaks Luxembourgish, German, French, Italian and English. At the age of 12, she made her debut on Radio Luxembourg. She has acted in both French-language and German-language films and television productions since her mid-teens. She received the prestigious German Grimme Preis for her acting role in the series Bad Banks last year cementing her comeback as an actress. She also helms production company DEAL producing and directing international films .
