Murg Musallam literally means 'Whole Chicken' marinated in ginger-garlic
paste, stuffed with minced meat, boiled eggs, etc. The dish was popular
among the royal Mughal families of Awadh, now the state of Uttar Pradesh
in India.
It also means well done. Ibn Battuta described Murg Musallam as a
favourite dish of Muhammad bin Tughluq. The dish was also served in the
Delhi Sultanate.

ONION VERY FINELY CHOPPED -4
CHOPPED GREEN CORIANDER
& MINT LEAVES 1/2 CUP
2 TOMATOES CHOPPED
GINGER GARLIC PASTE 2TBSP
SPICES:
KASOORI METHI - 1 TSP
JEERA Pd. - 1/2 TSP
GARAM MASALA Pd - 1/2 TSP
CORIANDER Pd - 2 TSP
SALT TO TASTE
TURMERIC Pd - 1/2 TSP
RED CHILLY Pd - 2 TSP
DRY FRUITS FOR PASTE:
ALMONDS 10-12
CASHEWNUTS 8-10
POPPY SEEDS 1 TBSP
