@anonymousnowhere4 years ago She realized that her relationship was also stinking like the unwashed shirt. She realized it was time to move on. The pure white shirt ( symbolizing their relationship was now tainted and stinky) Her handing over the shirt was a metaphor for breaking free of her relationship with him. ... 2490

@silvercloud50873 years ago The White Shirt is symbolic to the relationship and memory between the ex-lovers. Vani is unable to move past the memories and self imposed hurdles to a fresh start. Her Ex uses the shirt as an excuse to keep connected with her and keep himself as a part of her life. The maid washing the clothes tells her that she need to move beyond the stale memories and make a fresh start. Her quick decision to hand over the shirt and refuse the dinner shows her choice to move on. She is no longer stuck to the old memories and cannot be emotionally fragile. ... 762

@ghazalasaleem42504 years ago I had a relationship.. we used to be like love birds.. made for each other... we used to spend our nights watching in the sky... together... one day he did it with another women in the same house in the same room .. under same window... and he dared to confess me.... I was broken... shattered into tatters.... I was so in love with him that I readily forgave him... I was so in love with him that I was hurt and dieing from inside but gave our relationship a chance.... but after that he did it again and again... playing with my feelings.. tearing me apart.. playing with me for almost 3 years... it turned out like they both were together ( he with another girl ) and I used to beg him to come over to me...... it was like i begged him placing my hands on his feet... but he stood there with his girl... for 9 months it went like this.... and day by day i started being used to it.... then one day I decided to change the place where I lived... and found a new environment and i made some seriously good frends and healed myself... now I am perfectly fine.... it was 2 years ago... almost for 5 years... now he is like a dog behind me and I dont give a shit.... ... 1806

@jayshrigunge68464 years ago Wow I watched this film again after 3 years and it has brought all the memories back. @vrconnected7 years ago Moral of the story : If you are fortunate enough to have someone who loves you more than anything else on this planet than don't lose her no matter what. But if your partner changes, giving priorities to other things or cheat with you, than its high time to move on. Don't hate her and don't complaint. Take your time. Talk to your partner. But if the things don't change, then its better to move on rather than getting frustrated most of the time. You deserve a better one. And you'll get it, Mark my words👍🏻 ... 2171

@shi22225 years ago i keep coming back to this again and again.
i have been in a relationship with a guy for 5 years and he repeatedly kept leaving me for other girls but my love for him remained the same even if it had hurt me so much. i endured alot. but 3 and half years have passed and now i’m just focusing on myself and my life. life is going smoothly. got my promotion in an year of work. but im always scared of loving someone again. the scars of past is still there but im healing. the last scene where she is smiling with her headset on, i feel that. it’s like my everyday life when im done with my work & on my way to home.
Edit: thank you so much for your lovely replies. I am doing well for now. Hopefully things will go right. Wish you guys the best.
Ps: for some few people who thinks im doing this for attention; i never had the courage to talk about what hurts me this openly. Hence nothing about this account reveals who i am. I commented how i felt. No need to be hurtful towards me. Wish nothing like this happens to you

@monapradhanang69624 years ago Loved this movie. Guy wanted her back in his life so was pretending that he needed the shirt back but didn't meet the girl saying he is busy which he was not. For days, in the name of shirt, girl was in the memory of their past and slowly getting into the feelings she used to feel for that guy. Apparently, that is what guy wanted to happen. She only realised when the maid said the shirt stinks i.e. their relationship. So, girl maturely ended the relationship completely and moved ahead with her life. ... 219

@aditieliser.8897 years ago Since color can have emotional effects on us, the director has consciously used color symbolism to effectively communicate with his audience. White is the color of innocence, faith, trust and hope. White is the beginning of everything, before anything is muddied.
