This video explains about how well the Raspberry Pi can run Scratch 3.
It covers the different Raspberry Pi models including Raspberry Pi 2, Raspberry Pi 3, Raspberry Pi 4 and latest update Raspberry Pi 5. It also looks at running Scratch on Raspberry Pi OS 4 (based on Bullseye) vs Raspberry Pi OS 5 released in October 2023 (based on Bookworm) and 32-bit vs 64-bit versions.
The Raspberry Pi 5 arrived just in time for this video, so it's been added as an update during the video.
Essentially the Raspberry Pi 5 ran Scratch version 3 when used with the 32-bit version of Raspberry Pi OS (Bookworm) but did not start with the 64-bit version. Hopefully that is something that will be fixed in future.
