Nan Merriman sings Adieu forêts from Jeanne d'Arc

Nan Merriman sings here the great Tchaikovsky aria "Adieu forêts" from his opera Jeanne d'Arc. This performance is taken from her second farewell recital (Amsterdam, April 28, 1965 with Gustav Koenig conducting). The first recital on the 27th was with piano. What an artist!
