Situated in the shadow of the Lonely Mountain, it was deserted for many years while the mountain was under the control of Smaug the Dragon. The town was repopulated after the Battle of the Five Armies under the leadership of King Bard I, a descendant of Lord Girion. Now, many years after the Battle of the Five Armies it is time to unleash the full potential of this bountiful land, and restore the once proud kingdom of Rhovanion.
