WELCOME SPEECH | Opening Ceremony | Superior College | Bahawalpur

Aaslam-u-Alikum! A very good After Noon to Worthy Principal, Respected Co-Ordinator, Honourable Professors, My Dear Fellows and Our Juniors. I am Muhammad Zaman Cheema from Bsc (Double Computers) 4th year. I would like to say few warm words of welcome to all of you as we are going to celebrate welcome party for freshers. I am privilege and honoured to stand before you to welcome All Junior friends. I must congratulate them all on their selecting the Finest college in the district. It is a known fact that we have dynamic management, motivated and devoted professors. I would like to raise a toast to all the new faces in here. New faces that we don’t know till now but would wish to know. The same new faces that once belonged to us a year ago. The same new faces that, over a short period of time, will no more be, ‘NEW’ faces. Well, I speak on behalf of all the BSC 4th year students here. Just a few lines that how we all are feeling at this juncture Newness or novelty has been intriguing and fascinating to man since the ancient times. Novelty for us is excitement ,surprise and science, cheerfulness and joy, hope and happiness, boldness and buoyancy, positive ness and passion. But men as we all are known, novelty to us also means risk, unfamiliarity, uncertainty, fear, doubt and disturbance. Today is an exceptional evening with the glimpse of joys, laughs and happiness. It is not the day when we wear casuals, sit quietly and listen to Professors. No!! It’s the day newcomers were waiting for, it’s the day for seniors who were waiting to welcome their juniors. Yes, it is the day when Professors stand by students and cute clicks are captured. It’s the moment when beautiful memories of the first event of an institute are attended by freshers. Today excitement is at its peak, where all are together and are amused to see each other. I am glad to see that many of you are able to join us, and who are not present here, they are going to miss it. Today is all about celebrations. Let’s capture some magical moments, create happy memories and surround ourselves with laughter and friendship. There is an English saying “Friendship is a ship which help u to cross the ocean of life” Don’t be a stranger to anyone anymore. You have stepped into this college with fresh thoughts, nobel aims, high hopes and aspirations and I assure you that your ambition will be accomplished by successful guidance of our beloved Professors. It was my pleasure to be here and share my views. I on behalf of our Bsc department want to officially welcome junior batch of 2015 in Superior family. From now onwards you guys are a part of us. I want to pay gratitude to our College Managment, for providing all of us this exceptional platform. Now, I want the function to be officially started. Thank you so much!
