    @kaleysheldon31087 years ago Annoo,
    First of all, I would like to thank you for being my saving grace for unique and beautiful patterns. My mother(50), sisters(15&24) and daughter (4) are all getting the cocoon cardigan for Christmas. I showed them all several ideas and they ALL wanted that one! And I somehow managed to do them all in 2 months on top of 4 scarves, 6 hats and a full time job 😂. So thank you for really breaking everything down to the point that us beginners can do well with your pattern!
    So, my 24 year old sister will be 25 in April and I really want to make this monokini for her. My question is, how many yards of yarn will I need? I found a gorgeous colorway that I love of this yarn, but it is less yardage than most of the others.
    Thank you!

    @ilaria2987 years ago even with 100% acrylic you still can't go in the water it would end up down by your knees, best to get a yarn that has some elastic or nylon in it like sock yarn, as that will hold its shape 😉 16

    @ThriftThreadThrive4 years ago Just finished making this, I really love the pattern but found the bottoms to be too large and wide at the crotch. Next time I will measure and compare to an existing swim bottom. With some alterations and sewing in a lining in the bottoms will work. Love the lace belly part ❤️ thank you so much! ...

    @SuperDivatude7 years ago Anoo... Thanks for doing this video. I have a few friends who have been asking me to make a mono. I saw in an earlier post you were hunting for some other yarns to do this with. In attempting this project acrylic yarn is too stiff and too rough to the touch. I would suggest using a brand of cotton yarn called Cotton Fair, it's thin its soft and so far (I'om row 7), it seems to do pretty well. ...

    @ghadaabdelfattah80556 years ago Hey Anno...first thanks for this great video tutorial...i have been working on it since a while, i am using the written pattern for size L/XL, and now i am stuck in rows 42 to 65, the pattern says that i need to repeat rows 37 to 40, but this is making the back part straight at one end and very sloppy at the other end!...seeking your help. TIA ...

    @sharonlee18957 years ago Hi Annoo, I love your design and I already made a small size one for my niece. She loves it! I am now trying to make one for myself in size m. However, When I get to the lace belly part I had a problem. I followed the instructions and tried a few times it still end up in 29 DC (including the ch5) and not 27 DC like the small size one. In fact before the set up row there are 60 stitches for small size but 70 stitches for medium. Please help! ...

I follow you alot, but I'm having an issue with the monokini for the extra large it says I should have 54sc at the end of my 65th row, but I'm ending up with 40 instead. @chronicstitcher79337 years ago A beautiful design, as always Anoo!  However, letting my "beach goddess" shine....not a good thing!  Believe me, you'd thank me for it.  My beach body checked out on me about 10 years ago.  Even when I DID have a body for it, I was always too modest to show that much skin.  Hey, I grew up in a different time.  The halter one-piece I did wear, the first time my dad saw me in it, I thought he was going to have a stroke, now HE grew up in a time when ladies wore short-type bottoms with halters to the beach.  :)  Extream Modesty of the '40's.  He demanded I take it off, and it took my mom days to talk him into letting me wear it.  Different times..... :) ... 1

    @theresemariegastineau99307 years ago I ordered some stretchy yarn called Alize Diva Stretch Yarn. I'm still waiting for it to get here so I can try it out. The first two I made were 100% cotton so I'm not sure how they hold up in water. May use them as a sunbathing suit only, LOL. I will let everyone know how it turns out after my yarn gets here. ... 1
